Barbara Jean McLean

Barbara Jean McLean passed away peacefully December 24, 2024, with family by her side. Barbara was born December 11, 1930 in Wenatchee, WA, she was 94. She married Neal H. McLean in 1948. They spent the majority of the life in the Belfair area where she worked at the Mason County Sheriff's Office until retirement. Her hobbies included camping, sketching, sewing, cooking and reading. Barbara moved to Clarkston, WA in 2001 and lived with family before going into assisted living and managed care until her death. She was loved by the nursing staff mostly for her bluntness. She made sure they always knew what was on her mind.

Barbara was preceded in death by her husband Neal, son John David McLean, son Robert McLean, grandsons Andrew Geiger, Timothy Geiger, Stephen Solene, granddaughter Brandalynn Reidt, and great-granddaughter Lillian Adeline Watkins. She is survived by daughter Mary Henningson, son Michael McLean (Debbie), daughter Barbara Jean Harkins (Dale), son Mark McLean (Lynn), daughter Susan Martz (Randy) and son Brian McLean, many, many grandchildren and many more great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held at Miller-Woodlawn Memorial Park in Bremerton, WA.
