North Mason girls basketball
The North Mason High School girls basketball team knocked off Kingston 49-41 on Dec. 27 in their final pre-Christmas break game.
The Bulldogs improved to 7-0 overall and 4-0 in Olympic League action with the road win, and face Lakes in a nonconference matchup Satuday before returning to Olympic League play on Jan. 7.
North Mason boys basketball
The Bulldog boys basketball team won three games in five days at home last week, knocking off Ocosta 71-42 on Dec. 16, Kingston 77-53 on Dec. 17 and Orting 62-52 on Friday.
North Mason is 5-3 overall and returns to action Jan. 3 at Muckleshoot Tribal School.

North Mason's bowling team split two league matches last week, defeating Bremerton 5-2 on Dec. 17 at Hi Joy Bowl in Port Orchard, before dropping a 4-3 decision to Port Angeles at Laurel Lanes in Port Angeles.
Shelton boys basketball
The Shelton High School boys basketball team ended a three-game slide with a 50-48 road win over Rochester on Dec. 18.
The Highclimbers improved to 2-4 overall, and faced Central Kitsap on Monday at Terry Gregg Court in Shelton
Shelton girls basketball
The Highclimber girls basketball team improved to 5-1 overall with a pair of nonconference road wins last week.
Shelton blasted Olympic 68-40 on Dec. 19 in Bremerton and then rolled past Hoquiam 48-22 on Dec. 21.
The Climbers face Kingston on Friday at Kingston, and then open Evergreen Conference play Jan. 7 against Black Hills.
Shelton bowling
Shelton's bowling team rolled past Tumwater 1,657 to 1,535 on Dec. 17 at Westside Lanes in Olympia as the Climbers improved to 5-3 overall this season.
Shelton returns to action Jan. 7 against Centralia.
Mary M. Knight girls basketball
The Mary M. Knight girls basketball team went 3-0 last week to improve to 6-2 overall.
On Dec. 17 in Matlock, the Owls defeated Ocosta 62-37; on Dec. 18 in Matlock, MMK beat Tenino 43-35 and on Friday at Lake Quinault, the Owls beat the Elks 67-4.
MMK returns to action Jan. 6 hosting Columbia Adventist.
Mary M. Knight boys basketball
The Owls boys basketball team lost three games last week.
On Dec. 17 in Matlock, MMK dropped a 49-19 decision to Ocosta. On Dec 18, the Owls fell 40-15 in Matlock and Friday, Lake Quinault topped MMK 39-29 at home.
