Daniel Joseph Hascall passed away on December 15, 2024, in Shelton, Washington, at the age of 30. Born on June 20, 1994, in Olympia, Washington, Daniel grew up in Shelton and graduated from Shelton High School in 2012.
Daniel was a beloved member of the Ridge Motorsports Park community, where he worked and humorously referred to himself as "Kind of a Big Deal around here." His colleagues and the many people who frequented the park held him in high regard for his humor and warm personality. He always had a smile and a sarcastic comment for you. He loved his work, racing, and the racing community. If something was broken or went wrong, he could be counted on to make it right.
In addition to his professional life, Daniel was a dedicated family man. He met his wife, Sierra, in 2015, and he quickly fell in love with her and her son, James. Daniel and Sierra married in 2021. Together, they built a loving family with their two sons: James and Dustin.
Daniel is also survived by his mother, Carrie Garrett; his siblings Vicki Gibson (Keith), Elizabeth Wilson, Katlyn Garrett (Colton), and Randy Crenshaw; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, and other extended family.
He was preceded in death by his father Joseph Hascall, Grandparents Carol and Creighton Anfinson, Grandparents Alice and Hank Hascall, his uncle Bill and aunt Sheri.
A Celebration of Life will be held on January 11, 2025, at Ridge Motorsports Park at 11:00 a.m., where friends and loved ones will gather to honor Daniel's memory.
Daniel's sense of humor and devotion to those he cared about left an indelible mark on all who knew him. May his memory bring comfort to those who loved him. He will be greatly missed by many.
