Shelton Bowling

On Nov. 19 against Tumwater at Westside Lanes in Olympia, the Climbers split the two regular games and won both Bakers to defeat the Thunderbirds. Alivia Holte led Shelton (3-0) against Tumwater with an average of 156.

Against the Tigers on Nov. 21, Kai Aronson averaged 160.5, including two turkeys in the second regular game.

“In the past matches, we have had highs and lows,” Shelton coach Jennifer Deyette wrote in an email. “That didn’t happen tonight. Each bowler was

very consistent and all bowlers were in good spirits.”

Shelton faced Aberdeen on Tuesday and resumes play after Thanksgiving.

North Mason Bowling

The North Mason High School bowling team faced Olympia, Sequim and Orting last week. The Bulldogs defeated the Olympic Trojans 6-1.

Results from the other two matches were not available at the Journal’s press time.
