Leslie "Bill" Robbins

Bill was born to Marion and Marian Robbins. He was the middle child of three children born on August 24, 1933 in Chewelah, Washington. Bill was 91 when he passed away on October 24, 2024.

He grew up in Hoodsport, attended Shelton High School, graduating in 1951, and joined the U.S. Air Force and served four years. He made the rank of Staff Sergeant and was stationed at Paine Field, Everett WA. He was honorably separated from active duty on October 15, 1956.

In 1956, he met Harlene Wyman, they were married for 68 years. He retired after working for Tacoma City Light for 33 years.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Marion and Marian Robbins, and siblings, Leroy Robbins and Lois Chaise. He is survived by his wife, Harlene Robbins, daughter Laurie Hagedorn (James) and sons, Glenn Robbins (Valen), Carl Robbins (Donna), and Don Robbins (Valerie), also 14 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all of his family.
