Lady golfers raise $8K for veterans village

The Alderbrook Ladies Golf Club hosted its 45th annual First Mates Invitational Tournament on July 9 and raised $8,000 to benefit the Shelton Veterans Village. The money was generated through raffle basket sales, hole sponsorships and a silent auction.
