March 8, 1988 - August 10, 2024

Michelle Ann Wittenberg, 36, of Washoe Valley, NV passed away unexpectedly in Reno, August 10, 2024.

Michelle was born March 8, 1988, to Robin (Wittenberg) Oakes and Tom Wittenberg (deceased) in Olympia Washington. After graduating from Capital High School in 2006, she attended WSU. Michelle was the light in any room and the epitome of beauty inside and out. Her laughter, her genuine love and amazing hugs, and most of all her love for their children and BJ was unmatched. She was an amazing loving mother; her world truly was her family. She loved being on the track cheering on both her kids at their BMX races and supporting them in all their endeavors. Her love for God and her faith got her through many tough times. She is now at peace. She is terribly missed by so many people. She will forever live in our memories

Michelle was preceded in death by her father, Tom. She is survived by her fiancé, BJ Ritter, their children, Jett (7), Renzee (3), two step-children, Alani Ritter (19), Blake Ritter (16), her mother, Robin Oakes (Jim), her brother, Brett Wittenberg (Keonica), and their children, Rileigh (7), and Hazel (2), her grandmother Dodie Vonhof, Michelle's "sis" Jennifer Ritter Teachout and her children Bryce and Brayden and "in-laws" Billie and Ed Ritter, as well as many relatives and friends that loved and supported her.
