Nora Lee Lanning

Nora Lee Lanning, 75, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 5, 2024. Born on September 9, 1948, to Norene Morris and Billy Lee Hasch in Port Angeles, Washington, Nora lived a life full of love, family, and cherished memories.

Nora married her beloved husband, Rick Lanning, on September 14, 1967, and they shared a beautiful life together.

Nora's legacy lives on through her family, who meant the world to her. She is survived by her daughter, Danielle Cook (John), and her son, Chris Lanning. Her grandchildren, Chad Cook (Ami), Cody Cook (Shayla), and Megan Cook (Nolan Coker), held a special place in her heart. Nora was also blessed with great-grandchildren Jace, Hallee, Ryan, Jackson, Loretta, Eli and Barrett, who brought her immense joy.

Nora is also survived by her siblings, Peggy Bjornton (Thom), Mark Hasch (LouAnne), Billy Hasch (Debbie), Mike Hasch, Skip Hockman (Patty), Jan Melanson (Doug), and Becky Morris (Chuck). Additionally, she leaves behind numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins who will miss her dearly.

A memorial service to celebrate Nora's life will be held at a later date. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone for their love and support during this difficult time.
