State Route 106 blocked after crash

A suspected drunken driver allegedly caused a head-on collision on state Route 106 north of Twanoh State Park Sunday, injuring three people.

Bremerton woman Katharine Cuyle, 40, was driving westbound near Twanoh Tides Drive at 7:25 p.m. when she crossed the center line and struck a vehicle driven by Sergey Bezzabara, 44, of Federal Way, according to the Washington State Patrol.

The accident blocked both lanes.

Cuyle was taken to St. Michael Medical Center in Silverdale and Bezzabara and two of his three passengers were taken to St. Anthony Hospital in Gig Harbor for their injuries.

Cuyle was arrested for vehicular assault and DUI, according to WSP.

Shelton biker hurt

A Shelton man suffered injuries in a collision with a vehicle on state Route 3 just over the Mason/Kitsap County line at Lake Flora Road on Tuesday, according to the Washington State Patrol.

Shelton resident Sun M. Ly, 32, was northbound on the highway when a Jeep, driven by Port Orchard resident Amanda Kramer, 43, made a left turn into a residence and Ly struck the left side of the vehicle.

Ly was taken to St. Joseph Medical Center in Tacoma for his injuries.

The accident is under investigation, according to WSP.
