Potlatch substation planned outage

Lights will go out in the Union, Lilliwaup and Hoodsport area for maintenance starting at 10 p.m. Thursday, June 27 until 7 a.m. June 28, according to a notice from Mason County PUD 1.

Bonneville Power Administration will service the Potlatch substation overnight.

Hoodsport Winery to Mike's Beach Resort and nearly all of Union will be affected.

State route 106 from the Classic Garage to Alderbrook Resort & Spa will keep power, but everything past the resort on 106 will be out.

"PUD water techs will go around and check all PUD 1 systems after power has been restored. PUD line crew is going to get some system maintenance work done overnight while the lines are deenergized," the release states.
