Shelton baseball

Shelton’s season came to an end May 8 with a 2-1 loss against Mark Morris in the 2A District IV baseball tournament at the Ridgefield Outdoor Recreation Complex.

Shelton ended the season 11-8 overall.

North Mason softball

North Mason won 8-7 against Bremerton on

May 8 in Belfair and lost 9-5 against Bainbridge on May 9 in Belfair and ended the regular season with a 15-0 loss against North Kitsap on May 10 in Belfair. The Bulldogs ended the regular season 9-10 overall and 4-10 in Olympic League games.

As of Tuesday, the 2A Distict 2/3 tournament seeds hadn’t been announced.

Mary M. Knight baseball

The Mary M. Knight baseball team won its final two baseball games of the season, 37-33 against Wishkah Valley on May 7 in Wishkah and 23-22 against Wishkah Valley on May 9 in Belfair.

MMK ended the season 2-10 overall and 2-6 in Coastal League games.

Mary M. Knight track

Mary M. Knight sophomore Andiana Ziegler won the 800-meter race at the District 4B Track and Field meet May 8 at Naselle High School in Naselle.

Ziegler ran the race in 2 minutes, 55.37 seconds and also finished fourth in the 400-meter race in 1:08.79.

Freshman Bella Buck finished fourth in the javelin with a throw of 87 feet, 1.5 inches. Sophomore Zoie Anderson placed fourth in the high jump with a height of 4 feet, 4 inches.

Sophomore Logan Green finished second in the high jump with a height of 5 feet, 8 inches.

The four athletes have qualified for the 1B District IV Championship meet at 4:30 p.m. today at Franklin Pierce High School in Tacoma.
