Robert "Bob" Michael Whitmarsh

Robert Michael Whitmarsh was born January 23, 1946. He passed away on March 26, 2024. He was born to Robert and Doris Whitmarsh, who preceded him in death. He was their only son and was raised with his four sisters. He grew up in Shelton, WA, and graduated from Shelton High School in 1964. He went on to graduate from Western Washington University.

Bob worked in California, Alaska and Oregon in the insurance business before retiring and buying the Yakima Watermill from his uncle. He recently sold the business.

He is survived by his sisters Diana Wright, Deana Healy (Rick) and Liana Schoening (Brian). His youngest sister Lee Anna preceded him in death. He also leaves behind 11 nieces and nephews, along with many, many great and great-great nieces and nephews.

His employees became like family to him. He felt blessed to have so many loyal employees who became great friends.

He will be missed by his family, friends and community.

A celebration of Bob's life is being held on May 18th, 2024 at St. Andrews Church, 540 School Street in Lacey, WA 98503.
