Property tax

Editor, the Journal,

The assessor took an oath to support the U.S. Constitution, especially the first article in the Bill of Rights not to prohibit the free exercise of religion which has been done when children are being exposed to comprehensive sex-ed K-12th grade against the Holy Bible.

Two-thirds of property tax funds public schools and the remainder also is illegal because the property tax is against our original state Constitution according to appellant, David Darby.

At 91 years, I have paid these same illegal taxes without any benefit since my kids are now in their 60s (no personal benefit there for umpteen years).

At my Board of Equalization hearing March 6, I was Zoomed and could not see the faces of any but the lady that listed my land parcels. No more faces on the screen, just names and the gentleman cut me off after I was allowed to recite the constitutional oath taken by the assessor. I managed to say the OSPI (Mr. Reykdal, Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction) was deciding the curriculum for all the public schools in the state when the curriculum should be decided by "We, the people."

I'm sure private Christian schools don't require tuition once the child graduates. Too bad the parents are still taxed for public schools.

Sorry that our joint income barely exceeds the amount to qualify for a senior exemption.
