Wayne Green

Wayne Green passed away on January 31, 2024, in Mesa, Arizona at the age of 69.

Wayne loved his family, friends and his dogs Tasha and Mary Bell. He could be counted on to lend a helping hand, offer advice and make people laugh. His handshake was a promise. Wayne had a passion for the outdoors and being in the woods. He spent his Sundays watching football and rooting for the Raiders. During the summer months he could be found enjoying a ride on his Harley. He was always up for an adventure and truly enjoyed the journey, not just the destination. He made the most out of every experience and made sure everyone was included.

He is survived by his fiancé Dian Lacy, daughter Janna Green, son Damian Green, stepdaughter Stephanie Neurer, daughter-in-law Laura Riordan, brother John Green, half-sister Darlene Green Gayton, grandchildren Tianna Oien, Ashley Auseth, Taylor Riordan, Wyatt Riordan, Samantha Baker and Owen Green, great-grandsons Brody, Jameson and Holden and many other family members.

He was preceded in death by his parents Mary Jo and Wallace Green, sister Bonnie Green, wife Barb Green and stepson Scott Matheson.

A celebration of life will be at Wynoochee Dam on Sunday, July 28, 2024. In lieu of flowers, please donate to your local, state or national park in Wayne Green's name.
