Landslide

A landslide Saturday closed U.S. Highway 101 in both directions about 1 mile north of Hoodsport. An employee for the state Department of Transportation said the cleanup was complicated by the presence of an old growth tree near the top of the slide that featured an eagle's nest and an eagle.
