Mary M. Knight girls basketball
Mary M. Knight won 60-17 against Wishkah Valley on Jan. 16 in Matlock but lost 47-38 against Darrington in a nonleague game Jan. 17 in Darrington.
The Owls won 44-17 against Clallam Bay on Jan. 20 in Matlock and won 54-10 against Lake Quinault on Monday in Amanda Park in a 1B Coastal League game.
MMK (8-7, 4-2) hosted Oakville on Tuesday in Matlock in a league game. The Owls play against Lake Quinault at 7 p.m. on Friday in a league game in Matlock.
Mary M. Knight boys basketball
Mary M. Knight won 51-28 against Wishkah Valley on Jan. 16 in Matlock but lost 52-34 against Darrington on Jan. 17 in Darrington.
The Owls lost 45-21 against Clallam Bay on Jan. 20 in Matlock and fell 44-40 to Lake Quinault on Monday in Amanda Park.
MMK (3-11, 1-3) hosted Oakville on Tuesday in a 1B Coastal League game. The Owls play against Lake Quinault at 5:30 p.m. on Friday in Matlock in a league game.
Shelton boys basketball
Shelton lost 54-49 to Black Hills on Jan. 18 in Tumwater and lost 57-49 against Tumwater on Monday in Tumwater.
The Highclimbers (7-7, 4-3) hosted Tumwater on Tuesday at the Mini-Dome in an Evergreen Conference game. Shelton plays Rochester at
7 p.m. on Friday at the Mini-Dome in a league game.
Shelton girls basketball
Shelton lost 61-17 against W. F. West on Jan. 17 in Chehalis and lost 48-35 to Black Hills on Jan. 19 in Evergreen Conference games last week.
The Highclimbers lost 73-18 against North Thurston on Jan. 20 in Lacey.
Shelton (2-13, 1-8) plays Rochester at 7 p.m. in Rochester in a conference game.
Shelton wrestling
The Shelton boys wrestling team won 41-36 in an Evergreen Conference dual wrestling match Jan. 17 in Tumwater.
Noa Tuitea at 285 pounds, Ty Fleshman at 126 pounds, Cole Borden at 132 pounds, Logan Peach at 138 pounds, Aaron Cervantes at 144 pounds, Phenix Oleachea at 157 pounds, Hunter Leth at 175 pounds and Trevor Rodeback at 215 pounds earned wins for the Highclimbers.
Shelton finished up that victory with a team tournament win at the River Ridge Rumble on Jan. 20 at River Ridge High School in Lacey.
The Highclimbers tallied 164 points to edge second-place Forks with 162 points. Fleshman, Peach and Bradley Eveland at 190 pounds all earned win in their weight-class tournaments.
Richard Lingle placed second in the 132-pound tournament. Oleachea finished third and Leth finished fourth in their respective weight tournaments.
The Shelton boys traveled to Fife on Tuesday to wrestle in a nonleague match with Fife and Mount Tahoma. The Highclimbers wrap up the regular season at 7 tonight on senior night against Centralia at the Mini-Dome.
The Shelton girls were also scheduled to compete against Fife and Mount Tahoma in nonleague matches on Tuesday in Fife, and host senior night at 7 tonight against Centralia.
North Mason girls basketball
North Mason lost 65-57 to Kingston on Jan. 16 in Belfair and lost 37-26 to Port Angeles on Jan. 18 in Port Angeles.
The Bulldogs (5-7, 2-7) played against Bremerton on Tuesday in Belfair in an Olympic League game. North Mason travels to Sequim at 7 p.m. on Friday to play against the Wolves in a league game.

North Mason lost 57-40 to Kingston on Jan. 16 in Kingston and lost 73-58 to Port Angeles on Jan. 18 in Belfair.
