Matthew Ray Mulanax was born to Donald Mulanax and Shirley Dimmitt (Westerdahl) on November 4, 1958 in Seattle, WA and was a resident of Ocean Shores, WA for the past eight years. He passed away of COPD on January 19, 2023, at Grays Harbor Community Hospital in Aberdeen, WA.
Matt was a member of the Boilermakers International Brotherhood and worked at Todd Shipyard. He loved going fishing, hunting and camping.
He grew up along the Hood Canal near Lilliwaup, WA, graduated from Shelton High School in 1977, and married his high school sweetheart, Sandi Johnson in 1978. They had a son together, Josh in 1979. Matt was married four more times and had another son, Sean in 1986 during his second marriage. He was in a relationship of 10 years with girlfriend, Nita Lopez, at the time of his passing.
He is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Josh and Emerald Mulanax of Bellevue, WA, son, Sean Mulanax of Everett, WA, and mother, Shirley Dimmitt of Everett, WA.
