Patricia Ilene Gregg, née Kramer, of Grapeview, WA passed away November 28, 2023. She was born in Kenmare, ND on April 27, 1936 to Harry O. and Evelyn C. Kramer. After living in Portal, ND until she was five years old, her family moved to Centralia, WA for a few months and then on to Hoquiam, WA. She attended Hoquiam schools and graduated with the class of 1954. There she was a member of BC club and acted in several plays.
After graduation Patricia went to work at PacTel where she was an operator for Ma Bell for five years. In September of 1958 she married the love of her life Charles (Charlie) C. Gregg. They had four children; Charles Jr., Courtney, Christopher, and Allison. During their growing up years Patricia was involved as a member and president of YMCA Circle 12 and treasurer of the General Y. She was also a member of the Grays Harbor Women's Tennis Club and Beta Sigma Phi, Alpha Omega. Her children were involved in For the Kids, Little and Babe Ruth leagues and tap-dancing with "Miss Marion."
In 1987 Patricia and Charlie moved to Mason Lake. After Charlie retired they enjoyed going to the Air Races in Reno, NV several times. They had a big vegetable garden every year. Patricia enjoyed reading mysteries, doing crossword and Sudoku puzzles. Earlier, Patricia liked to sew clothes for her kids and knit and crochet and do needlework.
Patricia's parents, her beloved husband, and a grandson preceded her in death.
Patricia is survived by her brother Harry O. Kramer of Mill Creek, WA and her children Charles of Grapeview, Courtney of Shelton, Christopher of Hoquiam and Allison of Shelton, nine grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, one niece, three nephews and 36 cousins.
Patricia was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Hoquiam since 1949. As per her request, there will be no services. Please remember your favorite charity.
