North Mason boys basketball

North Mason won its opening game 62-59 to Muckleshoot Tribal School on Dec. 1 in Belfair in a nonleague boys basketball game.

The Bulldogs lost 58-55 to Evergreen on Dec. 4 in Seattle.

North Mason (1-1) hosts Kingston at 7 tonight in Belfair. The Bulldogs will travel to Port Angeles on Dec. 12 to play at 7 p.m. against the Roughriders in an Olympic League game.

North Mason girls bowling

North Mason lost 6-1 to Sequim on Nov. 30 at Laurel Lanes in Port Angeles in an Olympic League girls bowling match.

The Bulldogs hosted Olympic on Tuesday at Hi-Joy Bowl in Port Orchard. North Mason is back to Laurel Lanes in Port Angeles to play at 7 p.m. tonight to face the Roughriders.

Mary M. Knight boys basketball

Mary M. Knight boys basketball lost its opening game 59-36 to Pope John Paul II in a nonleague game in Matlock.

The Owls (0-1) host Three Rivers Christian at 7 p.m. on Friday in a nonleague game.

Mary M. Knight girls basketball

Mary M. Knight girls basketball won its opening game 50-34 against Pope John Paul II on Nov. 30 in Matlock, but lost to Pe Ell 33-32 on Dec. 1 in Pe Ell in a nonleague game.

The Owls (1-1) host Three Rivers Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. MMK travels to Battle Ground at 7 p.m. on Saturday to face Columbia Adventist in a nonleague game.

Shelton boys swimming

Shelton lost to Kelso 108-71 on Dec. 1 in an nonleague match at Gaither pool in Kelso.

The 200-yard medley relay team of Jayden Lovingfoss, Judah Holzgrove, Tawan Benedict and Darren Arthur won in 1 minute, 52.70 seconds.

The 400-yard freestyle relay team of Lovingfoss, Arthur, Holzgrove and Benedict won in 3:46.82.

In individual races, Benedict won the 100-yard butterfly in 54.80 and the 100-yard breaststroke in 1:03.84.

Holzgrove won the 200-yard individual medley in 2:16.83 and the 100-yard backstroke in 1:03.01.

Lovingfoss won the 200-yard freestyle in 2:07.94 and the 100-yard freestyle in 56.51.

Shelton hosted Aberdeen on Tuesday in an Evergreen Conference meet.

Shelton boys basketball

Shelton lost 56-43 to Capital on Nov. 28 and 67-36 against North Thurston on Nov. 30 in nonleague boys basketball games at the Mini-Dome.

Shelton (0-2) plays at 7 tonight in Chehalis against W.F. West in the opening Evergreen Conference game of the season.

Shelton girls basketball

Shelton opened the season with losses to North Kitsap 49-45 on Nov. 27 in Poulsbo and 34-30 to Olympic on Nov. 29 at the Mini-Dome in Shelton.

Shelton (0-3) hosted Tumwater on Wednesday in the first Evergreen Conference game of the season.

The Highclimbers host W.F. West at 7 p.m. on Friday.
