Nadeen Walker, 80, passed away on November 11th, 2023, surrounded by her immediate family in the comfort of her home.
Born on April 23, 1943, Nadeen graduated from NTHS '61 and then pursued further education at a business school in Seattle. Following her education, she had a fulfilling career, reaching its pinnacle with her retirement from the Fish & Wildlife Department of Game in 2000. Post-retirement, Nadeen and her husband Tom realized their dream by building their home on Harstine Island.
Nadeen is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Tammy Walker, her devoted husband for 61 years, Tom Walker, and their pug, Kona. She is also survived by her brother, Scott Thompson, along with numerous cousins, friends, and cherished neighbors. She is preceded in death by her mother, Thelma, father, Si, and stepfather, Nick.
A Celebration of Nadeen's life will take place at the Harstine Island Community Hall Saturday 3371 E. Harstine Island Rd. N. in Shelton, WA 98584, January 6th, 2024, Noon to 2:30 p.m., allowing friends and family to come together and honor her memory.
