Dedicated to the citizens of Mason County, Washington since 1886
Mary M. Knight High School senior football player Robbie Strain was named the 1B Coastal League's Offensive Most Valuable Player in a vote of the league's coaches last week.
"Robbie is well deserving of the offensive MVP of the league. He was the Owls' main threat out of the backfield this year and last year," MMK coach Tom Kerr said. "Robbie led the team in touchdowns and rushing yards. He was also a two-year captain and a young man of upstanding character."
Additionally, the Owls' Logan Walters (offensive line), Ben Camacho (defensive tackle),
Jordan Wood (linebacker) and Gabe Walters earned Coastal League honors.
