Shelton cross country
Shelton’s Carson Bursch participated at the Ultimook Race on Sept. 2 in Tillamook, Oregon.
Madison Lohmeyer finished 47th in the girls race.
Jack Parker finished 65th in the boys race.
The Climbers raced in Rochester against the Warriors and Aberdeen.
Shelton travels to the Fort Steilacoom Invitational on Saturday at Fort Steilacoom Park.
Shelton girls soccer
Shelton opened the season with a scoreless home tie Sept. 5 against Olympic, and traveled to Lacey on Saturday, falling to Timberline 6-0 in a nonleague game.
The Climbers (0-2) traveled to Chehalis on Tuesday to face W.F. West in a league match and hit the road to face Hoquiam at 2 p.m. Saturday in a nonleague game.
Shelton volleyball
Shelton traveled to North Mason and fell in a five-set match on Sept. 5 in the volleyball Mason County Cup.
Shelton (0-1) faced W.F. West in the home opener Tuesday.
North Mason football
The Bulldogs fell in a close game to Klahowya 21-20 on Friday night in Silverdale.
North Mason (0-2) hosts Kingston in the Olympic League opener on Friday night.
North Mason girls soccer
North Mason opened the season with a 9-1 win Sept. 5 against La Conner in a nonleague game before losing to North Kitsap 6-0 on Sept. 7 in Belfair.
The Bulldogs (1-1, 0-1) hosted Sequim on Tuesday in a league game. North Mason plays today at 6:45 p.m. against Bainbridge.
North Mason boys tennis
North Mason postponed scheduled matches against Kingston and Bremerton and forfeited a match against Port Angeles scheduled for Sept. 7.
The Bulldogs were scheduled to travel to Sequim on Wednesday and is scheduled to face Olympic today in Bremerton.
North Mason volleyball
North Mason opened the season with a five-set win against Shelton on Sept. 5 in Belfair.
Adrianne Tupolo had 11 kills and a block, while Adrianna Tupolo had nine kills and three blocks for the Bulldogs.
Sophomore libero Lauryn Hicks had 13 digs and four aces for the Bulldogs and Kalli Wynn had 11 assists and five kills.
North Mason (1-0) traveled to Sequim on Tuesday and Elma on Wednesday.
The Bulldogs host Bainbridge at 5:45 p.m. today in an Olympic League match.

Mary M. Knight lost their opening football game 66-20 against Lake Quinault on Saturday in Amanada Park.
The Owls face Clallam Bay in the home opener at 1 p.m. Saturday in Matlock.
