Inez "Nezzy" Glee (Benson) Jeffers

Inez "Nezzy" Glee (Benson) Jeffers was born on January 19, 1958 to Walter and Pearl Benson, in Seattle, Washington. She passed on July 16, 2023, at home with family and friends around her. She is survived by brother, Walter (Marjorie) Benson and sister Marilyn Kolcz. She is preceded in death by both parents and her brother Jimmy.

Nezzy was engaged to Ronald Shipp, who passed away before their son Ron was born in 1979. She married Jeff Jeffers in 1980 and they had two sons, Jake and Aaron. Jeff was in the Navy, so the next few years they traveled a lot. They moved to Shelton in 1996 and divorced in 2005. In 2006 she met Dave, the love of her life. They had been together for 17 years.

Nezzy was always there for everyone. She always put everyone's needs ahead of her own. She had a wonderful smile. She loved flowers and was an excellent gardener; she was a good poker player and even went to the WPTL playoffs in Las Vegas. If you had a problem with your phone or computer, she could usually figure it out. She will be greatly missed by all!

She is survived by her life partner Dave Wear, three sons, Ron Shipp, Jake (Krysten) and Aaron, three step-daughters, Bekah (Ed), Julia and Trinity (Ryan), seven grandsons, four granddaughters and one great-grandson, also close friends Gail Yates, Maria Perez, Debbi Jones and many other friends and family.

There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, September 9th, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Fred and Debbi Jones' 2494 E. Pickering Rd., Shelton Washington (The Shelter). A potluck will follow. Please bring your favorite dish, with your stories and memories.
