Raenae Lanning

Raenae Lanning, 76, went home to be with the Lord on August 24, 2023, after a short bout with cancer. She passed away at home surrounded by friends and family in Aberdeen where she lived with her daughter, son-in-law, and three grandchildren.

As a beautician, Raenae Lanning spent most of her life in Shelton and had many customers who became her close friends and whom she continued to serve after she had retired. Raenae was always known for her generosity and kindness, as well as her love for interior decorating and baking.

She was predeceased by her parents, Bruce and June, and brother, Paul McQuilkin.

Raenae is survived by her sons, Troy (Michelle) and Michael (Veronica), and daughter Toni Marie (James); brothers Kim (Sherry) and Garth (Gloria), and sister Penny (Jim); as well as her 11 grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held on, Thursday, August 31, 2023 at 12:00 p.m. at Mason Lake in Shelton. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Twibell's Fern Hill Funeral home in Aberdeen, WA.
