Danny W. Stewart

Danny W. Stewart, born August 1, 1942 in Olympia, WA, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2023, at his son Barney's home in Shelton, WA.

Danny joined the U.S. Marine Corp. at a young age. He was honorably discharged as a Corporal E-4 Sharp Shooter. He was a longtime resident of Shelton; he worked for Simpson Timber Company for 35 years. After retirement, he decided to go back to work for the Mason Transit Authority. Dad was a hard working man, and a man of his word. He enjoyed watching boxing and MMA on TV; he loved animals and wood-working. We're all going to miss him a lot!

Danny is survived by his wife, Deborah (Bartles-Byerly) Stewart, sons; Robert Stewart (Chinngo Lean) and Barney Stewart (Lisa), both of Shelton, and ex-wife Sandy Stewart. Also, seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
