Dedicated to the citizens of Mason County, Washington since 1886
Christopher Joseph Gordon passed away suddenly of heart complications on July 20th, 2023. Chris was born on May 20th, 1966 to Robert and Eloise Gordon of Shelton, Washington, the ninth of ten children. Chris worked at the top of his field as a drywall installer, widely known for his dedicated work ethic and quality craftsmanship. Chris was blessed with two families over his lifetime. He married Shelley Thompson in 1991 who he had two children with, Chase and Shaylie. Years later, he met and married Jessica Krich in Wisconsin who he welcomed four more children with, Nathan, Dakota, Alaina, and Alexandria. Chris was also a step-father to Jessica's first child, Steven Frenzer.
Chris returned to Shelton a few years ago. Chris enjoyed playing softball with the Pyros team, shooting hoops or playing a game of football in the street. His all-time favorite leisure activity was horseshoes and he was quite good at it. He loved working with his hands and building things for family and friends. He had the funniest sense of humor and gave us all enough laughs to last a lifetime. He lived for his children and loved them deeply.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Eloise Gordon, and his sister Judy Davis. He is survived by his children, Chase Robert Gordon (wife Katie), Shaylie Jennifer Gordon, Nathan Chase Gordon, Dakota Joseph Gordon, Alaina Shay Gordon, Alexandria Maria Gordon and Steven Rudolf Frenzer.
