Climber track shines in home meet with Wolves

Shelton won both the boys and girls team titles in an Evergreen Conference dual meet at Highclimber Stadium last Thursday.

In girls action, Kennadi Ward won the 100-meter dash in 14.14 seconds and Maddie Allred won the 200-meter dash in 30.48 seconds. Magdalena Vondrousova won the 800-meter dash in 2 minutes, 40 seconds and Lily Bennett won the 1,600-meter race in 5:45.44. Maryjane Hageman won the 100-meter hurdles in 18.11 seconds and the 300-meter hurdles in 58.30 seconds.

The 4x100 relay team of Brookey Smith, Quin Neal, Delfina Ramirez and Ward won in 55.27. The 4x200 relay team of Smith, Ramirez, Ward and Neal won in 1:58.11.

Olivia Henry won the javelin with a throw of 98 feet, 11 inches. Moa Skold won the high jump with a height of 4 feet, 6 inches.

In boys results, Cameron Huisingh won the 100-meter dash in 11.99 seconds and the high jump with a height of 5 feet, 11 inches. Nathan Gomez won the 400-meter race in 55.37 seconds. Jacob Miller won the 800-meter race in 2:05.29 and the 1,600-meter race in 4:27.53.

The 4x100 relay team of Huisingh, Gomez, Kaiden Ferguson and Bradley Eleton won in 45.75 seconds.

Anthony Warren-Keyzers won the discus with a throw of 151 feet. Bennett Henry won the javelin with a throw of 121 feet, 7 inches. Toby Bartholomew won the pole vault with a height of 7 feet, 6 inches. Gabe Menefee won the long jump with a distance of 19 feet, 1.75 inches and Scott Jordan won the triple jump with a leap of 33 feet, 3.25 inches.

Shelton was back Wednesday at Black Hills in an Evergreen Conference meet and will travel to the Oregon Relays on Friday and Saturday at historic Heyward Field at the University of Oregon in Eugene.
