Final day for free meals at Shelton schools
Today is the last day the Shelton School District is providing free meals to anyone ages 18 and younger.
The meals must be eaten on-site during the scheduled times of operations.
Locations and times:
■ Shelton High School, 3737 N. Shelton Springs Road, breakfast 7:15-7:35 a.m., lunch noon to 12:30 p.m.
■ Olympic Middle School, 800 E. K St., breakfast 8-8:30 a.m., lunch 11:50 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.
■ Evergreen Elementary School, 900 W. Franklin St., breakfast 8-8:30 a.m., lunch 11 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.
■ CHOICE High School, 807 W. Pine St., breakfast 8-8:30 a.m., lunch 11:50 a.m. to 12:20 p.m.
Two local students making the grade at Oregon State
Two students from Mason County earned spots on the scholastic honor roll for the spring quarter at Oregon State University in Corvallis.
To be eligible, a student must earn a GPA of 3.5 or better while taking at least 12 graded hours of course work.
Lindsay S. Fitzmorris of Belfair is a senior majoring in agricultural sciences. Aaron J. Boothe of Shelton is a senior majoring in computer science.
