Eric Schager finished second, Cameron Gibbons placed third and KayDee Hilboki won the youth category with a fish measuring 20 7/16 inches. Larry Lawrence, owner of Spencer Lake Bar & Grill, has hosted the fishing derby for 21 years. "I love it. It's good for the community, it's good for my business. It's a win-win for everybody," Lawrence told the Journal. "We've sold as many tickets this year as we ever have." Lawrence said 350 people participated in this year's derby.
