Mildred "Millie" (Leeberg) Nicholas

Mildred "Millie" (Leeberg) Nicholas, 84, formerly of Fawn Lake in Shelton, WA, passed away on April 4, 2022. She was a graduate of Stadium High School in Tacoma, Washington.

Millie retired as a driver for Exceptional Foresters Inc. and was a member of the Elks, Eagles, and the Junior League. She had a lifelong passion for all things outdoors, including hunting, fishing, camping and bird watching. Millie also enjoyed traveling and was a fantastic story-teller. She had the gift to gab and did not know a stranger. Millie was loved by many and will by truly missed.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Anna and Ted Leeberg, brothers Frank Leeberg, Gun-nard Leeberg, Robert Leeberg, Martin Leeberg, Harry Leeberg and sister Frances Hayward. She is survived by sister, Lillian Settle, daughter, Barbara Glass, son, Mark Nicholas, four grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great great-grandchild.

Services and a potluck gathering will be held from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Mason County Transit, 601 West Franklin in Shelton.
