Alice Marie Coffin, 71, of Belfair, went to Heaven on Sunday, January 9th, 2022, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Puyallup, WA. She was born May 7, 1950 in Salem, OR, to Alfred and Elnora Wyatt.
She is survived by her husband Paul Coffin, whom she married on September 23, 1984. Also surviving are her two daughters, Lisa Kless of Temecula, CA, and Trina (Ken) Miller of Keller, TX; three step-sons, Charles (Susanna) Coffin of Belfair, Walter Coffin of Tacoma and Stuart Coffin of Kent; two sisters Carol (Steve) Loyer of Belfair, Sue (Jack) St. Hilaire of Lynnwood; three brothers Dave (Cheri) Wyatt of Great Falls MT; Ken (Laura) Wyatt of Tumwater and Don (Cheri) Wyatt of Belfair; ten nieces, six nephews, 20 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren. Her mother, father, a brother and two grandsons preceded her in death.
Alice was a long-time resident of Belfair where she eventually settled after leaving Grays Harbor County in her 40's. She graduated from Moclips High School in 1968 and was active in ministry work from singing in choirs to serving in student ministry for over 55 years. She loved to sew, bake, quilt, paint ceramics and make porcelain dolls. She was the life of the party wherever she went, purely enjoying being around and loving on people as often as she could. Alice never met a stranger in all of her 71 years.
A memorial service will be held at North Mason Bible Church on Friday, January 21st, 2022, at 3:00 p.m.
