Roberta Lynn Scanlon (Smith)

Roberta Lynn Scanlon (Smith) passed away at home in Tumwater on September 25, 2021. She was 55. Roberta was born to Bobby W. and Marcia J. Smith (Ford) on January 8, 1966, in Shelton WA. Roberta was a loving daughter, mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend.

Roberta graduated from Shelton High School in 1984. She went on to Community College at Clover Park and became a Licensed Practical Nurse and worked several jobs in the Olympia area throughout the years. She loved to cook, bake, sing and do Karaoke along with rooting for her Seahawks. Her favorite was to spend as much time as she could with her grandchildren Ryan Alexander, Mystaya Maria and Xander.

Roberta is preceded in death by her father, Bobby W. Smith; her mother Marcia J. Smith; her sister Angela Rose Decicio and her sister DeeAnn Teresa Elquero (Decicio).

Roberta is survived by her children Joshua Ryan Smith of Bremerton, Brittany Renee Smith of Olympia, Michael Joseph Scanlon of Spokane and Nicholas Tyler Scanlon of Lacey, and her long-time partner Michael Marsh of Tumwater. She is also survived by her brothers, Irvin C. Decicio Jr. (Butch) of Kennewick, Dino D. Decicio of Shelton, Victor J. Decicio of Olympia, sisters, Victoria G. Decicio of Auburn and Annette D. Rogers (Decicio) of Kelso. Additionally, she leaves several cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

She will be missed by all. There is no service at this time.
