    State Sen. Drew MacEwen, R-Shelton, is running to represent District 6 in Congress. Monday was the first day candidates could file for positions up for grabs in the Aug. 6 primary election.     On Tuesday, President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump clinched their party’s nomination for a 2024 election rematch, and their dominance was reflected in Mason County’s presidential primary tallies that evening.
