Nadia Marie Hovind peacefully passed away in her sleep at 2:05 a.m. April 28, 2022, in the Moana Valley on the island of Oahu. She was holding her daughter, Wendy's hand. Although she started her next journey from Oahu, she was a dyed-in-the-wool Shelton girl. Nadia loved movies. Her favorite was Out of Africa. D. Jean Lee passed away on May 13, 2002 at the age of 96. Hers was a life well lived. Born in Quilcene, Washington in 1925, she was the youngest of four children. Her family weathered the Great Depression by subsistence living and through cooperative community efforts. Laura Ann Pinter, 59, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her husband, Frank, and daughters, Madison and Ella on March 6th, 2022. Michael “Mike” Daugherty, born June 7, 1949 to Charles and Patricia Daugherty in Shelton, passed away February 20, 2022 near Shelton. He finally lost his struggle with addiction, and is now free. Robert "Bob" Stevens, 96, passed away peacefully at his home on Oakland Bay on April 24, 2022 with family by his side. Bob was born at home May 21, 1925 to Martin and Linda (Charlson) Stevens on Oakland Bay. He graduated from Irene S. Reed High School in 1943. He enlisted in the U.S. Army Air Force.
