    The recount of two close races in the Nov. 2 general election did not change the results, with Miguel Gutierrez beating George W. Blush by five votes for a seat on the Shelton City Council, and Arla Shephard Bull defeating Michael Curtin for another term on the North Mason School Board.     Barbara Maxine Rogerson passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 23, 2021. She was 93. Barbara was born December 3, 1927, in Casper, Wyoming, to George and Emma Brown. At age 14, she moved with her parents, two older brothers, and a younger sister to Centralia, Washington, where she graduated from High School. She retired as a bookkeeper at the Squaxin Tribal Smoke Shop but previously worked at Little Creek and the Alderbrook Inn.
